HAJDU Hajdúsági Ipari Zrt., which manufactures products including boilers, has experienced a significant surge in growth during the so-called economic recovery. Even during the pandemic last year, its sales remained stable, confidently surpassing the set target of over HUF 10 billion in revenue.

The building engineering products subsidiary of the HAJDU Group, based in Téglás, got off to a strong start in 2021, as reflected in the first-half results. With HUF 6.5 billion in revenue, the company exceeded the previous year’s figures by 32% and surpassed the year-to-date plan by more than 25% in the first six months. Both domestic and export sales grew nearly equally compared to the previous year. The company exports to around 30 countries, where the German market remained stable, while the French and Russian markets saw particularly strong growth.

Forecasts also point to a strong second half of the year, with the autumn period expected to be especially robust. Increased demand for their products is being driven both by energy efficiency investments and government family support programs.

Positive news extends to HAJDU Autotechnika Ipari Zrt., primarily active in the automotive sector. Production is growing dynamically, and customer demand remains high. The company is progressing steadily toward its ambitious goal of achieving 60% growth this year, which would translate into HUF 8 billion in revenue.

Over the past year, their workforce has grown by approximately 100 employees, and thanks to the economic upswing, the HAJDU Group expects to hire an additional 100 new employees in Téglás. Both companies agree that expanding the workforce and finding qualified professionals remains one of the biggest challenges. Their factory location is advantageous, and they strive to provide the most favorable working environment possible for their employees.
