Environmental policy
In keeping with the expectations of all stakeholders, especially its customers, the authorities, the general public, owners and employees, in the course of developing and operating the manufacturing processes for its products, and while performing other related activities, HAJDU Autotechnika Ipari Zrt. endeavours to promote sustainable development through the efficient use of environmental resources, and by minimizing its environmental footprint.
We comply with prevailing statutory provisions, standards and requirements of specialist authorities. In the interest of achieving our environmental targets we implement measures to facilitate the measurement, assessment and mitigation of environmental risks.
We treat the protection and improvement of the environment as a priority, and consequently we operate an ISO 14001 certified environmental management system encompassing the entire organization and acting as an element of the integrated management system.
When developing technologies we favour solutions that have a lower environmental impact, which generate less waste and are more favourable from the point of view of health protection.
When selecting our suppliers, a key consideration is their commitment to sustainability. One of our goals is to inform our customers about environmental issues related to the manufacturing of our products.
We place particular emphasis on the continual development of our employees’ environmental awareness, their commitment to the environment, and we stress materials and energy saving policies and sustainable development.
We disclose to all interested parties all the information that is necessary for evaluating the environmental impacts of our operations.
Environmental awareness
HAJDU Autotechnika, like any modern business, regards maintaining the ecological balance as being of key importance. In the course of its operations - while taking economic and technical aspects into consideration - the company pays special attention to protecting the environment, natural resources and public health. We take responsibility for continuously improving the environmentally-friendly character of our processes, products and manufacturing sites, and for ensuring the environmentally-friendly management of natural resources.
The environmental awareness of our employees is further reinforced through the provision of information, training programmes and motivation schemes, which also contribute to minimizing the environmental burden of the company's operations. To ensure the assertion of all these objectives, our company operates an ISO 14001-compliant environmental management system, audited and certified by an independent certification company.

Waste management
General, industrial and hazardous waste is collected separately, clearly marked and then stored in areas specially designated for this purpose and developed in compliance with relevant legal regulations.
In compliance with legal regulations and the provisions of our structured, certified environmental management system, all waste that is produced is handled and disposed of by enterprises and organizations authorized to do so by the competent authorities.
