HAJDU Autotechnika also takes into account the structural transformation occurring in the automotive industry as part of its strategy, placing significant emphasis on expanding and reshaping its customer base. The company has achieved notable success in this area in recent times, establishing relationships with numerous new partners.

“Our customer base transformation will remain a key priority for us in the future. We cannot afford to ignore the structural changes in the automotive industry, so we are consciously continuing on this path. From this perspective, the construction of BMW’s Debrecen plant presents a significant opportunity that we aim to seize. At the same time, it is our explicit goal to diversify our partner portfolio, not only serving the automotive industry but also other sectors, ideally performing as complex sheet metal forming activities as possible,” continued the company’s CEO.

The company’s core business is the production of pressed and deep-drawn components, as well as the design and manufacturing of the necessary tools, leveraging over 70 years of manufacturing experience and 20 years in the automotive sector.

Advanced Tool Manufacturing
Tool design is carried out entirely in a 3D environment. The forming steps required to produce the final product, as well as the deformations occurring during these steps, are simulated using AutoForm software, which is also used to define the tool surfaces. These modeled tool surfaces are then used to create complete tooling models in Creo or CATIA design software, allowing interoperability with other design platforms.

HAJDU possesses all the technologies needed for tool production and maintenance, from simple single-station tools to complex transfer tools, including milling, turning, grinding, wire and block EDM, heat treatment, and assembly. The quality of the manufactured tool components is verified using state-of-the-art Blue-LED scanning or 3D measurement technology.

At HAJDU Autotechnika Zrt., in addition to exhaust system components, parts are now manufactured for numerous other assemblies, such as seats, sunroof systems, and certain body components. The company’s products can be found across a wide range of vehicles, from luxury cars to commercial trucks and heavy machinery.

As part of its medium-term plans, HAJDU Autotechnika aims to reduce its energy exposure. Among other investments, this includes the establishment of a solar power plant in the coming years.
